Day 22 Last Full Day of the Trip

hello dear, how are you?

Time flies by, today is the last full day of my 23-day summer trip in the UK. I parted with parents yesterday in Manchester and took the train back to London yesterday, and tomorrow I’ll be flying back to HK.

This trip has been way busier and more hectic than I imagined, I guess because rather than staying in Manchester most of the time, we did two road trips as a family, and for me having to travel to London and fly in and out. It’s actually quite tiring, which is also why I share here not as often.

And for the last few days, my period came and I’ve been having cramps and headaches while travelling, which makes me feel even more tired. But I’m glad that I feel better today that I didn’t have to take panadol today, so at least I get to enjoy my last day in london.

I went to meet with Jojo (again) today, and this time with Sharon as well. Not sure if you remember who she is but she’s also IF team and has moved to the UK. We three worked together at Jojo’s place, and it’s nice to gather with the girls in IF again finally.

And today, I found out that apparently they (the IF team, I guess except Howe) have been guessing if Edison and I are together 😅 it’s kinda funny to me to hear about that, because little did they know the “stories” I’ve been through with Edison, and how after all of that we’ve remained friends in unique ways that we both feel comfortable with.

Anyway, I’ve also been digesting the emotions of having to part with my parents again after spending time together for 2 weeks. While the sadness can feel heavy, I don’t want to push it away because I feel it is a good reminder for myself to cherish every season in life by focusing and living in the moment.

I believe this mindset applies to not just my time with parents for the last few weeks, but also as that comes to an end and that I return to HK, it marks a new season’s beginning as well where I focus on my own life and relationships in HK.
