Day 7 Manchester

hello from Manchester my dear :)

I reunited with parents and back to our house yesterday after the two-hour train. It’s been a year since I last came back. It always feels refreshing to be back here. The house is very comfortable, with very nice lighting and environment.

It’s also interesting to see how my parents bought more and more stuff for the house over the last few years, haha. My mom used to say to keep everything simple here, but they eventually brought quite a bit of stuff from HK to here, this house feels really sufficient now.

Today is a rest day for me, because I’ve been outside and busy everyday when I was in London. So today, I didn’t go out at all and after I woke up in the morning, I did online church, and then I spent the afternoon resting and singing. In the evening, I watched disney plus with parents in the living room.

Sometimes I try to imagine living here in this house for long term, but I’m not very sure because even though this house is very comfortable, I imagine living in a countryside like this can get a bit boring. But regardless, this is still a really nice place for my parents for their retirement.
