hello dear, how are you?

After a week, I am finally almost fully recovered from my cold. I actually took today off because I want to compensate myself for having to work over the weekend two weeks ago at the business trip. I didn’t really have anything special planned out for today, I went to my chinese doctor as usual in the morning, then I went to causeway bay for my favourite comfort food fishball noodles, and did some errands and shopping before I went back home to do some chores.

I quite enjoyed today :) maybe because it’s a weekday and the street was less crowded and overwhelming for me, and also I got to enjoy some relaxing me time.

Aaide from these, I actually have been trying to make some travel plans for the next few months, one of it would definitely be the UK to visit my parents. But this process has been a bit stressful for me with how expensive flights are lately. After discussing with my brother and his gf (we’re trying to visit our parents together), we’ll likely be there in August, because my parents will likely come back to HK in Nov / Dec, and we want the visit to be less close to their return. So I’ve been looking at the flights, and also deciding how long I’ll want to stay this time and whether I’ll want to visit one more place in Europe like how I always do in the last few years.

I am kinda conflicted because with Chung in the picture (assuming we continue to develop our relationship by then), I might not want to be away for that long (last year I stayed for a month). But I also kinda feel like if I go all the way to my UK home, it’d make sense to stay longer. So I’m thinking to perhaps make it a 3ish week trip, but this time I’ll probably not visit other cities aside from London, because after my last experience in Amsterdam, I kinda feel like I don’t feel as refreshed to visit Europe by myself as I felt at the start, and I also kept having slightly unpleasant experiences (being approached by guys) during these trips.

These are just my early thoughts, I’ll probably try to finalize the trip in the next few days before prices go further up.
