New Territories day

hello dear, how are you? how was your weekend?

for me, yesterday I spent a day in new territories, because it was time for my car to go for annual inspection. It’s been 6 months since I got the car as well, so I went to the same garage in fanling that Edison introduced to arrange my inspection and do some service.

Chung wanted to spend the day with me, and since I would have to drop my car off and wait for it, we decided to do a “car hang out”, that we drove out together from HK island to fanling, and then after I dropped off my car at the garage, Chung drove us out to a cafe for lunch. It all sounds like a good plan, except that in fact, Edison happened to have to do same for one of his cars this weekend too, so he actually went to the garage as well. For the last two times, if you remember, I actually spent the time with him at the garage, so I actually felt a bit missed out that I couldn’t do the same this time.

But I know spending time with Chung is more valuable and meaningful for the growth of our relationship, and it’s also a more appropriate choice. So I decided to focus on enjoying the day with him. He took me to a pretty nice cafe, and then after I collected my car, we drove to Luk Keng Bride’s Pool then to TaiPo in the end for dinner.

It was a fun day even though it was quite tiring. Chung said he wants us to spend more time together outside aa friends, because he feels that friendship is an important foundation for any relationship and he doesn’t want to skip that. I understand what he’s saying, especially because this is his first time properly trying to date a girl, so I will also try to adjust to his pace.
