Siumai dinner

hello dear, how are you?


for me, I’ve been feeling just okay, because I keep feeling I’m almost sick alongside the pms :( I did a lot over the weekend and maybe that’s why I wasn’t very well rested.


Saturday was a chore and errands day for me with my brother and his girlfriend. I did groceries, exercised at home, washed the car, then cooked dinner. I was so tired physically after the whole day. I actually planned to go hiking at first but I worried that I would drain myself on top of all these errands that I had to do that day, so I decided to exercise at home instead in the end.


It seems like I won’t get a chance to exercise for this month though :( because I’m going to a wedding next Saturday. It’s a wedding of my friends from church, from my care group. The groom is actually the one who led to Chung and I knowing each other, he’s very close to Chung. The couple actually asked me to help out at their wedding by putting on a siumai stall at their cocktail party after the ceremony. I am kinda excited and also honoured that I could help, but also nervous, because he said there’ll be 200+ guests and he’s asked if I can prepare 600 siumai. If you remember, I hosted a siumai sale for my church earlier this year, but that one was much smaller scale. So I hope it’ll be manageable on Saturday and that my period wouldn’t be heavy on that day.


In fact, that’s related to what Chung and I did yesterday. We did a test run at his place with the steamers and airfryer. This is the first “dinner” we’ve made at home actually, hahaha
