Taipei 2026 Day 1

hello dear, how are you?

I’m actually writing to you from Taipei! 😊 sorry for being a bit quiet for the last few days, I’ve been a bit busy than usual making sure my work and chores are done before I go on this little holiday break.

My 4 days 3 nights Taipei trip finally began this morning. I decided that for this trip, the most important is that I am going to let myself have enough rest and recharge physically and mentally, so there’s no solid itinerary or must-go places, but instead a chill and not “chur” trip. That’s why I booked a flight that’s 1pm so that I don’t have to get up super early to catch my flight haha.

I got to Taipei and checked in at my hotel at around 5pm. I found this really good deal of a 4 star hotel that has a suuuuper big room and is quite convenient as well. Even though it’s not the really modern style hotel, it’s quite classy and I’m quite satisfied with it so far.

After settling for a bit, I went for an early dinner of braised pork rice bento and then did some shopping :) Most of it was window shopping, I only brought very little stuff, hehe.

I thought I was quite chill today, but turns out I still walked almost 1,4000 steps today. So I’m actually quite tired and ready to rest.

Tomorrow I’ll meeting my friend who lives in Taiwan. We’ll probably go to some exhibitions and hang out together. I think it is good that I also get to spend some time with my friend here so that I could at least have some social interactions, haha. Good night 😊

I tried this top that I quite like but didn’t buy in the end cause it’s a bit overpriced

Psyduck is my company for this trip 😊
