Day 10 Baby & me 💌

hello my dear 😊 I miss you sooooo much today. I wonder how did you spend your valentines day?

For me, I visited Jason at his home today, and I finally met their baby! And I had a little bit taste of babysitting :)

What made this experience even more special is that it snowed last night and this morning but the sun was still out. So it was such a great walk with amazing view even though it was freezing cold. Here is me taking baby to walk along the river 😊

Baby is actually a caucasian because the surrogate mother is a white and Jason’s partner is a Swedish. He is a very beautiful and lovely baby. I wore a mask the whole day because I worried that I would infect him as I am still not recovered yet.

His Swedish partner is very nice to invite me to have a Swedish style dinner with them for tonight, so I really am the third wheel, haha.

This whole experience still feels very unreal to me because Jason is my friend since I was small at church. He is definitely one of the smartest and highest achieving people I have known. But he always behaved like a child in front of me and needed me to take care of him (he is two years younger). I know that is his disguise, but till these days I would sometimes still worry about him like a mom. So seeing him becoming a dad with a Swedish partner and starting a new life in a foreign place - I am so proud and extremely happy for him, and I also feel so glad and heart-filled tonight when I saw how great he is at parenting and how happy he looks with the baby. But while I enjoy the day with his family, I have also been missing you a lot a lot a lot at the same time. I don’t really know how to describe that feeling - all I can say is I think about you alll the time as I did all these throughout the day.
