Last day of the long holidays

I didn’t write here yesterday night because I felt really tired last night with some muscle sore after a packed day, and I slept early. I thought I was just tired, but I woke up feeling a bit sick this morning. And I happened to have my chinese doctor appointment today, and he also said I’m probably getting sick 🤒 So I am going to rest soon now. But before that, let me still share with you about my day.

Yesterday, I went to Tai Hang to get my car camera installed at noon. It so happened that Edison’s friend was also getting his car camera installed at the same shop after me, and he was going to meet his friend, so he came over a bit earlier to check out mine. And when his friend arrived, he introduced me to his friend. The introverted side of me immediately got really shy and felt awkward, so I didn’t stay for long time.

But it was still pleasant to spend that short time with him, especially after the uncomfortable time of meeting Joao the day before. Meeting Edison reminds me of how a safe and healthy relationship should feel like, even if it’s just friendship.

After that, I did an interior cleaning for my car for the first time. It’s quite tiring but also satisfying, I feel it is a good way to bond with the car while spending some alone time and recharge as an introvert.

And today, I had slightly terrifying moment, because today was the first time in a few weeks that I didn’t see Joao when I was at church in the morning. We haven’t been texting since our last meet up, so I don’t know if he just didn’t come today or he was somewhere else. But just as I was kind of relieved that I didn’t have to interact with him today, I saw him in Central after my chinese appointment. Luckily I don’t think he saw me because I was behind him, but it was scary enough for me.

I am going to find some time and write him a message to properly “reject” some time this week. So I really hope the situation will be resolved soon.
