Amsterdam day 2

hello dear, miss you 🤍
Today is my second day in Amsterdam. The weather is slightly better and the sun is out. I feel like I pretty much finished the Amsterdam city centre, so I went to the windmill village in Zaanse Schans.
I actually have been here many years with my friends during my exchange semester in Paris. It feels kinda interesting to come back, the memories are quite vague even though I recognize the place. However, I had another unpleasant experience again there. I was walking along the street (it was day time and quite crowded), and a guy who’s with some other boys just said “yo hi” when they walked past me.
Obviously I ignored him and just kept walking to the other direction, but it brought me to another kind of annoyance that’s different from my experience yesterday. I just find it ridiculous that we’re in 2025 now and there’re still european guys who find it fun to “yo” asian girls on streets.
Because of these experiences so far, I have been going back to my hotel quite early after dinner. I remember when I last came here, I went touring with my friends in the red light district. They even tried the weed there. But this time, I really don’t feel like exploring the nightlife here at all.
I am staying for one more full day here before my fight back to HK. But I think I’ll try to go to The Hague tomorrow.
Thinking about you, good night 🤍
(didn’t get a lot of good photos of myself :( )
