Day 7 Hamburg 😷

Today mainly really is rest day for me as I have turned quite sick. I slept soooo much today in the hotel and I also had to do my laundry, so I actually didn’t go out for long today.

I think it is fine because I don’t think there is a lot to see here in Hamburg anyway. I feel sorry to say this but I think after being in Germany for a few times and having visited several cities and towns, I don’t really enjoy the country.

It might also be because it’s (the miserable) winter now here in Hamburg, it’s very quiet and almost feel unsafe after it gets dark. Last night I arrived at 9ish pm and just within the 5 minutes walk to my hotel, I was approached by two men. I think one was asking for money, another younger guy said something in German to me. I almost forgot it could be dangerous for a girl to be alone in European cities. But don’t worry, I got to the hotel safely in the end.

I did go out for a bit today, to walk around the main area of the city. Some photos of the really sick me, haha.

I actually quite like my outfit, the leather shoes with wide trousers, but I think I would only be able to wear this style in Europe.

I went back to hotel to rest after an early dinner. Then I watched the online playback of last Sunday’s church service, it is one of my ways to recharge mentally especially when I am far away from home.

Tomorrow I will be leaving Hamburg and head to Stockholm. I hope I will feel better after another night of sleep. Good night dear Andy, miss you 🤍
