Different but same old

hello dear, how are you? I miss you a lot a lot.

Today was office day for me. I finally felt I recovered from the wedding day, but then it seems like my period is coming and I am starting to feel the cramps again, haha. I hope my chinese medicine this week will help ease that a little bit.

I went in the office today to prepare for the Frankfurt trade show in Feb next year, so I had to do a lot of sample counting and sorting. It makes me miss you extra, especially when I was taking the trolley up and down the first floor.

Today after lunch, I followed Edison and Howe to the AIA tower to get coffee, the place where Lassana coffee was that you also suggested going. Guess what, it’s now become Coffee Academics. I feel a bit sad that Lassana is gone even though it’s not my favourite coffee place, because it’s one of my precious memories of you (my favourite human being 😊)

But that’s okay :) I feel like these days I am stsrting to understand how to keep and cherish these precious sweet memories I have of our days together at Meyer in my heart, without feeling like I have to be stuck in that past. You will always always pop up in my mind whenever I am in the office, but I am not expecting that we turn the clock back. I don’t know when we’ll meet again, but I know that the next time we meet again, it’ll be in a different place and a “different” (but same old) us :)
