Friday sunset

hello dear, miss you. how are you doing?

I had a very long day yesterday in the office, had two meetings with Vincent in person for 5 hours in total. Work has also been quite busy and stressful recently, and he even just gave me some a new role yesterday. I am still digesting that, I think I really need a discussion with him and my reporting boss on my role and career growth.

My Frankfurt accommodation issue has been resolved. I am not sure what Howe told Vincent, but he agreed to let Veron and me have our own rooms now. I guess I got what I wanted now, but I don’t know why I am still feeling a bit down about this. Maybe because my emotions were already triggered during the process, and now I feel like I need time to recover from that.

Today I took half day off to meet with my friend who came back from Taiwan for my friend’s wedding on Sunday. She is my secondary school mate too but moved to Taiwan few years ago. I took her to Stanley to watch the sunset at the beach.
