Hello from Bangkok

hello dear, from bangkok :) how are you? miss you.

After a day of travelling, my vacation to Bangkok starts today with my brother and his gf. We arrived late afternoon so we mainly just had dinner and then did some shopping and massage, then we went back to our hotel.

I don’t know why, but I feel like Thailand just has a special place in my heart that it kinda has that “feels like home” and nostalgia feeling for me. Maybe because I came to Bangkok/our factory near Pattaya for work quite a few times, the Thai people I get to work with, and also Edison who is half Thai.

The last time I came here was August last year for work with Edison. I also came here once with Siuham in 2023, and then any time many years ago with Jojo and other GTs. I feel like this time I am just kind of coming back for the memories, like the good local food I had before or coffee that Edison recommends.

I don’t know if you’d remember, I asked Edison few weeks back if he’d join my trip awkwardly. He didn’t come in the end and instead he is actually on vacation now in Phuket. So we are in the same country but far apart, quite a metaphor for our relationship actually I guess, haha.

Back to this trip, because I want to have some space between me and my bro/his gf. I have my own room while they stay together. Sometimes I feel a bit lonely when staying in a hotel room by myself and it makes me miss you more, but I also enjoy the alone time I guess. I bought my squirtle to stay with me this time :)
