hello dear, how are you? miss you 🤍
Today is friday, I worked from home and then I had my care group night in one of our members’ home in Lohas Park. This is the first time I drove there and it’s really so much more convenient for me, especially because we ended quite late at around 11:30pm.
Today’s care group was a testimony sharing session, it’s intended for me and another two new joiners to know more about the other members. So a couple in our group shared about how they became christian and their faith journey. I always find it interesting to hear stories of the others, and I am quite intrigued by how we all have our own unique experiences that lead to the same faith.
And towards the end of our care group and we took turn to share about our week, I decided to share about my car incident in the office on monday. I think after a few days, I am finally feeling less troubled by it. But I still wanted to share because as I reflected more on it in the last few days and tried shifting my perspective away from a place of anxiety, I realised how much it was worth being grateful for that no one got hurt when it was so close to becoming a terrible accident.
It also is a reminder for me of one of the most impactful messages in my faith, that is God always meets my weaknesses with His Grace. And my answer to that self doubting voice that has been trying to eat into my mind is acknowledging that we are all imperfect beings who make mistakes, but also remembering that because of God’s forgiveness and grace, we don’t have to stay in our regrets and imperfections. That is the true humble posture that I can be in when I live in God’s love.
Good night my dear. Sharing with you this pre typhoon sunset photos I took yesterday from home. I really like it because it reminds me of a christian song that I really like, and the lyrics says “every painted sky, a canvas of Your Grace”.
I also hope you’re staying safe, especially with the super typhoon coming the coming week.
Miss you and love you. ❤️🩹
