Plot twist car day

Today was a slightly “plot twist” day for me. Remember that I dropped my car off at the garage on Saturday in Fanling for service, and I was really hoping that I could pick it up yesterday or today, because I have to go in the office tomorrow. The garage guy didn’t guarantee me on Saturday, and when I asked the garage guy yesterday, he didn’t reply me, so I thought I wouldn’t be able to get it today and I was a bit disappointed.

I don’t know why I was a bit extra emotional today too, it is as if I have separation anxiety with my car (haha), and I just really wanted to get it back, I actually cried a few times about it 😅 But then I decided I would practice my patience and discipline, so I tried to focus at my work instead. Then at around 5pm, the garage guy suddenly called me, and said the car is ready, it’s just he forgot to reply my msg. So I headed out immediately to Fanling, and I got back with the car at 8ish pm.

I really feel like it’s God giving me a mini lesson to remind me to be patient and obedient, haha. It’s actually a better timing for me than to get it at mid afternoon because I could focus on finishing most of my work for today first, then also returned at non peak hours with cheaper toll. And I even got to see the beautiful sunset colors on my way to Fanling :) It’s just that I felt like I had to wait, even though I didn’t actually have to use the car for the last few days.
