Today, I miss you smoothing my hair in particular. It always makes me feel like I am a cat who got calmed by you. Miss that touch a lot.
It reminded me of why I liked you in the first place. I guess it all began with how safe you made me feel whenever I am around you. And gradually, I lowered my guard and let you in my heart. You may not understand, but for someone like me who’s so introverted, self-doubting, and emotionally complicated, I’ve probably waited my whole life for someone who has this effect on me to appear in my life.
